Features and Functionality

What types of presentations can LetsGo Slides create?

At LetsGo Labs our goal is to maximize your creativity using the apps millions of people already use everyday. LetsGo Slides is great for work presentations, but you’ll quickly see how you can do so much more. With LetsGo Slides, you can brainstorm with AI, compile research, create original graphics and pictures, or even create a how-to guide. All from within the same application. Our users constantly surprise us with new use cases like creating a cookbook or using the real-time information feature to create daily news briefings and market intelligence reports.

How can I use the slides that I create?

You might want to use your slides as a standard presentation, but LetsGo Slides lets you do so much more. Have you ever made a slide that deserved to be its own meme? You can export a single slide as a graphic. Tired of weird text showing up in AI generated images? Now you can get an AI generated image and have full control of the text without having to learn how to use a graphic design app. Creating a lot of event flyers? Give it a spin in LetsGo Slides!

Can I import content and have it create a presentation based on it?

LetsGo Slides focuses on presentation creation with AI. You can copy content from other sources to edit or supplement the presentation you are working on to your heart’s delight, but the AI can’t build a presentation by importing a document you’ve already created.

Can I edit the content the AI creates?

Absolutely! We encourage you to edit, update and refine the content to create the presentation of your dreams. Just remember that images are removed from storage after your trial finishes.

Can it create charts and graphs?

At this time, LetsGo Slides can’t create charts or graphs but you can use the Chart functionality offered with Google Slides™ or copy and paste a chart created in another tool into your presentation.

What AI Models does LetsGo Labs use?

At this time, LetsGo Labs uses Google’s AI models. We use Google Gemini™ Flash and Google Gemini™ Pro for written content and Google Imagen™ for visuals.

We are currently experimenting with content from other models like OpenAI and Anthropic.

Pricing

Why isn’t there a subscription plan?

At this time we don’t have a subscription plan. Our “pay as you go” model spares you from yet another subscription you have to keep track of, and also ties the price to usage. The cost of AI processing is considerable, so we opt to charge based on usage in a way that is more fair and transparent. We may offer other pricing models in the future, but so far users have appreciated a new pricing model for AI tools.

How do the credits work in the $25 pack?

Every new account gets a free trial license, which includes 100 text credits, 50 image credits.

When you buy a $25 starter pack license, you get 300 image credits and 500 text credits. These are added to any left-over images/texts from your free trial.

You can buy additional starter packs at any time. Depending on the type of image or text you create with AI, it will use between 1 and 5 credits. This is because certain content is more expensive to create with AI. You’ll see a real-time credits counter at the top of the LetsGo Slides sidebar, so you know exactly how many credits you have remaining.

Privacy

Is my data safe?

LetsGo Slides works entirely within the Google Cloud Platform™, without any external dependencies or sharing of information. We respect your existing security permissions and do not train any AI models with your data. This is a key advantage of using LetsGo Slides over other services that use your information to train their systems. With LetsGo Slides, all your information stays within the Google Cloud Platform™ ecosystem.

Lets Go Slides uses information in your title slide and other slides to create text and images. To improve performance, some data is cached (for up to six hours), then destroyed.

Your content is not stored, or shared with any third parties. Images you create are stored in a public cloud storage “bucket” where they can be shared, used or exported. You can remove images at any time, and they will be permanently removed from storage after your trial finishes.

AI Guidelines

Can I trust the results?

AI excels at automating tasks, analyzing datasets, and identifying patterns, but it lacks the nuanced judgement, creativity, and ethical reasoning of humans. AI also makes mistakes, so we recommend you double check everything it creates. Critical thinking helps bridge this gap, ensuring that AI outputs are contextualized, questioned, and applied effectively.

LetsGo Slides uses citations to show the source of some of the results when in Real-time Information mode. LetsGo Slides was designed for you to collaborate with AI, ask questions, edit results and think critically about what it is you are trying to produce.

Why do I get error messages that say the content can not be displayed?

AI models have rules limiting them from creating certain types of content or responding to certain prompts. When you get an error message like this, it means the AI interprets your request as a request for it to do something it is not allowed to do, and blocks you from seeing the results (this is known as “Responsible AI”). Sometimes you can try again, sometimes you need to make changes to your content before creating text or images.

Here are some of the rules that our current models must follow:

  • No images of children

  • No pornographic images

  • No images that involve copyrighted content

  • No hate-speech, or abusive content

If you try to create content that Google prohibits, you will be presented with an error. The error message is preventative, and does not affect you from trying again. You can attempt the same operation again, or adjust your content before trying again. You will be charged the credits it took to generate the image or content, even when the action is blocked.
